Description:
The STEP Representatives will be the chief liaisons between the STEP Planning
Committee and the schools, and will convey information back and forth between
the two groups. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Responsibilities:
The STEP Representatives will be responsible for relaying information
about the STEP Conference in order to recruit teachers to bring their classes
to the conference on Wednesday or Thursday. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The STEP
Representatives will also be responsible for advising the Planning Committee
of features they would like to see at the conference, such as in the students'
program, exhibits, or in the teachers' workshop program.
|
|
| |
|
|
| |
The STEP
Representatives can also be readily available resources for any questions
colleagues or students might have regarding the conference, and they will
help the Planning Committee disseminate any required information, particularly
by directing people to the website; e.g., class registration forms, teacher
registration forms, conference packets, confirmed exhibitors. They will
also need to provide the Planning Committee with a timeline in which the
teachers will need supporting information about the conference, in order
to integrate the conference experience into the curriculum or to simply
tell students what to expect. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Benefits:
For the participation as a STEP Representative, individuals will
receive a special gift as a token of our appreciation of service. In addition
to this, they will also benefit by having a hand in shaping the programs
and will have a guaranteed attendance at this exciting conference.
